Chaucer Infant School is on a clear and purposeful improvement journey. There is strong commitment from the leadership team and staff to build consistency, strengthen teaching and ensure every child gets the very best start to their education. We are looking for a teacher who wants to be part of that work.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to appoint a class teacher for a September 2026 start. This role will suit someone who is motivated by making a real difference – not just delivering lessons, but helping children build the foundations they need to succeed.
At Chaucer, the work matters. Getting phonics right matters.
Building language and confidence matters. Establishing clear routines and
expectations matters.
As a class teacher, you will play a key role in improving
outcomes for all pupils. You will deliver high-quality teaching, create calm
and purposeful classrooms, and adapt your practice so that every child can
access learning. You will work closely with colleagues to build consistency
across the school and contribute to a strong team culture.
