About the
role
As a Site Assistant
you will undertake planned and reactive site duties to support all school
maintenance. This includes buildings and grounds. Thomas Hall School occupies a
site of inspiring natural beauty with listed buildings and several acres of established
woodland. No two days will be the same, utilising your practical skills to
undertake maintenance and repairs, as well as gardening and grounds care.

A committed and capable individual that enjoys working both indoors and outside. Has a commitment to excellence, and the previous experience to be able to maintain and improve a complex and exciting premises such as ours. Someone that has a ‘can do’ attitude and a compatible capability. Always willing to put the safeguarding needs of our students first. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, the Disclosure & Barring Service and a Prohibition Order Check. A minibus inclusive licence is preferable.

Exeter, offer a site of inspiring natural
beauty. Our main building was built
in the 1600s, with established woodland surrounding the main campus area. The
building was part of Exeter University’s Duryard Halls of Residence for
nearly 100 years before becoming a school. In
2023, Thomas Hall School joined Reach South Academy Trust.

Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of
delivering all through 3-19 education.
We operate 17 academies in Devon, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire
