About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Science who can deliver outstanding, engaging lessons across the Science curriculum and play a key role within our teaching and learning team. The core responsibility of this role is the delivery of highquality Science teaching, and the successful candidate will be a passionate Science specialist who values high standards, strong relationships and inclusive practice.

N.B. For this role, the ability or willingness to contribute to the teaching of Health & Social Care would also be an advantage (but is not essential).

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence and engaging and purposeful lessons across different areas of the curriculum
  • Motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that there is minimum impact on students of staff absence
  • Contribute to creating a positive learning environment where all students feel valued
  • Take part in wider school life, including enrichment activities and extra-curricular opportunities
  • Play an active role in supporting the school’s commitment to raising achievement for all
