About this Role

Administrative Assistant - 26 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Term time plus inset days. 

Salary G3:6  - 9

We are looking to appoint an excellent Administration Assistant to join the team at Long Sutton County Primary School.

We wish to appoint someone who will:

·     ·      Liaise with the Headteacher regarding work to be undertaken

·      Maintain attendance registers and action first day absence phone calls

·      Update and maintain databases 

·      Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (such as Word and Excel) and Microsoft 365.

·      Have great attention to detail and strive for accuracy

·     Create a strong rapport with parents and children, ensuring good avenues of communication whilst maintaining professional distance

·      Carry out any other duties of an appropriate level and nature

·      Participate in first aid training as required

·      Treat all information acquired through your employment, both formally and informally, in strict confidence

·     Act in accordance with school policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection, safeguarding, protected characteristics and behaviour management
