About this Role

Our new nursery offering gives an amazing opportunity for staff to contribute to the development of our youngest children. As a new offering, this will allow all new team members to not only contribute day to day but into the development of the overall provision. It will offer growth opportunities for staff and children alike and will give those that work in and attend the setting  and "let their light shine"

As part of this provision, we will be offering wraparound care for our nursery pupils in a separate offering to our current wraparound care offer for the rest of the Polehampton classes.

We are seeking passionate, committed and hard working staff to support our youngest pupils before and after nursery through an engaging, vocabulary-rich and thoughtfully-planned environment.

Core hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 08:45 and 15:15 to 18:00 (part time positions are available as well).

Main job purpose

Responsibility for assisting the day-to-day activities of the OSC and supporting the continued provision for an engaging, safe and caring environment. In particular to the role:

·         Assist with the day to day activities of the club in providing a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities within the framework of the school’s policies and procedures.

·         To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting.

·         To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can thrive.
