About this Role

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to our friendly and inclusive school. As part of the Yorkshire Learning Trust we pride ourselves on the work that we do supporting young people.

We are a large, 2-form entry primary school with a popular school-led nursery, with rising numbers and a strong reputation in the local area.  Our current EYFS lead is leaving for opportunities outside teaching which means we are now looking for someone who will lead our small team of dedicated practitioners to continue to develop our EYFS provision.

The successful candidate will work alongside the KS1 phase leader and the wider Senior Leadership Team to shape the school's strategy and to ensure high quality provision and practice.  Our EYFS area includes 3 rooms, a shared space and a large outdoor area.  We are also working with YLT to look at ways to increase our nursery provision due to high levels of demand.

What we can offer you:

A dedicated team, committed to giving our children the best possible start to their education,

A highly motivated team of who share great ideas, celebrate successes and tackle challenges together

A dedicated and supportive leadership team and a supportive governing body

Collaborative opportunities to work with colleagues across our wider Trust

A commitment to your professional development

Our children need you if you:

Have EYFS teaching experience, including developing learning environments both indoors and out

Have high expectations and the highest ambition for all pupils

Have a passion to make a difference to the lives of children, with a real ability to inspire

Can deliver a dynamic and stimulating learning environment to engage all pupils

Possess a strong commitment to raising standards

Have the ability to forge strong relationships with families

Our staff and governors would like to meet you if you:

Are prepared to go the extra mile and want to work among experienced and forward-thinking people

Have consistently high expectations, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to your continuous professional development

Have a positive approach, a good sense of humour and capacity to think on your feet!

If you want to make a difference and are committed to improving life chances for children, we would love to meet you and show you around our school. We are proud to be a member of the YLT.
