These posts are sessional, and there is no guarantee of hours offered.

Examination Invigilators are required to work on a flexible basis, at mutually agreed times. There is no guarantee of regular work or a guaranteed minimum of hours per year. Exam Invigilators are expected to be available for the main exam periods each year (May and June).

There may also be the possibility of some hours to be undertaken for internal school exams throughout the year.

As an exam invigilator you will work as part of a team, usually working with at least one other invigilator, but you may on occasion be asked to work alone.

Duties will include: 

  • Supervising students taking examinations,
  • Preparing exam rooms 
  • Distributing and collecting exam papers.
  • Having an understanding of, and commitment to, maintaining the appropriate standards of confidentiality/security of exam materials.

Guidance and training on exam protocol will be given to successful applicants.
