About this Role

Teaching Assistant 
Part Time over 3 days (Weds - Fri)
17.75hrs per week paid as Teaching Assistant NJC Grade C
plus 1hr paid as Mealtime Assistant NJC Grade A and 1.75hrs as After School Club Assistant NJC Grade C
To commence September 2026.
For 2 days, you will work alongside the Class Teacher providing general class support including delivering tailored interventions and small group work under the direction of the teacher. The additional day is fixed term linked to EHCP funding for specific support for a pupil in KS2 with special educational needs requiring 1:1 support.
Please note - this position also requires one after school club duty on a Wednesday each week after school.

Ideally, you will:
  • Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
  • Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries;
  • Be willing to work as part of a team;
  • Be able to use your own initiative when required;
  • Have experience in a similar role in a school;
You should have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
