About this Role


We are looking for someone who:

· Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person

· Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities

· Builds strong working relationships and leads others effectively

The successful candidate will:

· Provide an efficient and confidential secretarial service to the Executive Headteacher, support the Executive Headteacher and lead on all clerical aspects of HR

· Lead and supervise the Trust Administrators, ensuring high standards and efficient processes

This role is 52 weeks with an expectation that holidays will be taken during school holiday periods.  Due to the hours of the working week during term time 9 days will need to be worked  during  the  school holidays.

Hours to be worked are:

Monday 7.30 am  - 4.15 pm

Tuesday 7.30  am - 5.30 pm

Wednesday 7.30 am - 5.30 pm

Thursday 7.30  am - 4.00 pm

Friday 7.30 am- 3.00 pm

7.30 start time is non negotiable and hours are annualised.

The postholder will be required be able to meet problems as they arise, and often use their own initiative to deal with them.  It involves a great deal of communication, both verbal and written, with a wide range of staff of the school, pupils and parents/carers.  The postholder will make day-to-day decisions about their own workload, within a clear framework.  This role requires the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity.
