The role will be term time only 9:00 - 14:30 approximately 25 hours a week.  Start/end time and hours negotiable.   We are looking for someone who has a passion for food and is a creative cook; who will deliver consistently high-quality meals for our students.  Many of our young people rely on us to deliver a healthy and nutritious warm meal on a consistent daily basis. They face or have faced challenging experiences in life and hot food served with love goes a long way to helping them cope with their social and emotional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

●        Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for our students, considering dietary restrictions and allergies.  Roughly on average 30-40 meals a day.

●        Be responsible for delivering a good quality service and ensuring meals are presented and served in an attractive way.

●        Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.

●        To control and order provisions creating and presenting school meals across the trust.

●        Cater for staff inset and twilight training sessions.
