School is a thriving, welcoming school serving around 420 pupils from
Reception through to Year 6,
with additional nursery provision. We are proud to be part of the Holy Cross
Catholic Multi Academy Company and serve a supportive, inclusive community
where children are known, valued and encouraged to flourish in every area of
their development.
As a school rooted in the teachings of the Catholic faith,
our vision of “Learning, Growing and Praying together with Christ our King”
underpins daily life and learning. We are committed to providing an outstanding
Catholic education, where Gospel values guide our relationships, nurture
pupils’ spiritual, moral and academic growth, and inspire everyone to achieve
their very best.
With Christ at the centre of all we do, our mission is to
help every child develop their God‑given talents, grow in confidence and
compassion, and become responsible, resilient and contributing members of their
parish, school and the wider world.
The Board of Directors of the Holy Cross
Catholic Multi Academy Company and the Governors of Christ the King Catholic
School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Play Leader to lead
our Before and After School Club provision.
The successful candidate will be
responsible for the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the club,
ensuring a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all pupils. You will

high standards of care, behaviour and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
Key responsibilities will include planning
and delivering a range of engaging play activities, overseeing the safe arrival

correctly and safely handed over to parents or carers in line with safeguarding
procedures.
The role will also involve managing club
resources, including monitoring stock levels, checking equipment and placing
orders as required. You will undertake administrative duties to support the
effective running of the club and maintain clear communication with parents,
school staff and other stakeholders.
You will play a key role in creating a
welcoming, well-organised environment, ensuring the space is clean, safe and
