About this Role

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is a friendly and welcoming school.  We are based on two sites – Nursery, Foundation and Key Stage 1 on Westhill Road, and Key Stage 2 on Scots Lane.  We are a two form entry school with capacity for 420 pupils and a 52 place nursery.  

We are seeking to appoint a Play Worker to join our established and successful team and support our vision for high quality Extended Schools Provision in our after school care club.


Duties will include:


  • Assisting the Play Leaders in the day to day running of the club ensuring high quality provision is in place
  • Assisting with weekly planning to ensure consistency with school links offering a wide and varied range of activities
  • Ensuring that the children are stimulated and engaged through activity in a safe and friendly environment

Working hours will be 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Term Time only. Temporary until May 31st 2025.
