Teaching Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and caring teaching assistant to join our school team to support children with special educational needs and disabilities and whole class teaching assistant work.
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is an inclusive, diverse and over-subscribed school, serving the community of Bretton and the Sacred Heart and St Oswald’s Parish. We are proud members of St John the Baptist Catholic Multi-academy Trust.

Job description and main responsibilities:
- Working with children with SEND and with other professionals in this to support the teaching and learning of the children.
· - Working with staff across the school to ensure that the children are able to access learning with their peers.
· - Deliver appropriate interventions and specified programmes, under the direction of the teacher, in line with the children’s needs and listed provisions.
· - Liaising with parent/carers of children as appropriate.
· - Support with the preparation of resources for children with SEND.
· - Undertake any reasonable duties outlined by the Headteacher in line with the role.
