About this Role

St Laurence Catholic Primary is a welcoming and diverse primary school situated in the north of Cambridge with excellent transport links to the A14, North Cambridge Rail and the Guided Busway.  We are committed to providing a broad, balanced and knowledge-rich education for our pupils, with high expectations for our engaged pupil community. 

We are seeking to appoint an EYFS Classroom Teacher to join our Primary School.  The successful candidate will:

  • be passionate about supporting young learners at this crucial stage of their development;
  • have a nurturing approach where every child feels valued;
  • be committed to providing a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

You will need to:

  • hold QTS and be educated to degree level;
  • plan and prepare lessons in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework;
  • develop excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues;
  • be a reflective and dynamic practitioner;
  • support the school's Catholic ethos.
