TEACHING ASSISTANT 1:1

Band: C  SCP 5-8 £25,583-£26,824 (£19,477-£20,422 Pro rata) 

 32.75 hours per week 5 days, term time only
Fixed Term to July 2026

 St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, child-centred and excellent 121 teaching assistant with experience of supporting a pupil with high SEND needs.

The practitioner will need to be flexible with working on a 1:1, small group or whole-class basis, and be a great team member. You must hold at least a minimum Level 2 qualification and will be experienced in supporting learning in a primary school setting. ●   Work under the direction and guidance of teaching / senior staff in supporting pupils working across the academy, to ensure they make excellent progress.

●    Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our academy.

●  Meet pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural needs as well as their pastoral and welfare needs.  This includes working closely with staff, parents and outside agencies where necessary to promote effective safeguarding of all children.

●     Develop good relationships with pupils, staff, parents, representatives, directors and primary MAC partners.
