About The Role

As a Casual Lunch Time Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the pupil’s lunch time in the lunch hall and playground.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a team to provide efficient, safe and enjoyable lunchtimes for all pupils. 
  • To promote positive behaviour in pupils, through the use of praise and upholding the rules system and procedures, ensuring an acceptable level of order and discipline is maintained according to the guidelines set by the Headteacher.
  • Act as care for children who are unwell until appropriate qualified medical assistance is available and/or until parent or guardian collects sick child, keeping the Headteacher informed and maintaining records of accidents and first aid given.
  • Report any major incidents and inform the child’s class teacher at the end of lunchtime.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.
