About The Role

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the classroom ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and excellent classroom practice. You will inspire and educate our children, fostering a love for learning and supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • To inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning
  • To deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils within the Reception class in line with the requirements of the EYFS
  • To organise classroom and learning resources to create a rich and stimulating learning environment where learners are welcome
  • To assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils in line with the requirements of the EYFS
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
