We are currently seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support a variety of pupils across the school. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised qualification. The apprentice will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, both within the classroom and through small group or one-to-one support where required. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and will take an active role in the wider life of the school.
The successful applicant will be expected to have good literacy and numeracy skills. A minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English is essential. Previous experience of working with children is not essential, but an interest in education and a commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and progress is important.
