About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Achievement Support Assistant to provide effective academic, social, and emotional support to individuals and groups of pupils across our academy. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching staff to maximize attainment, accelerate learner progress, and help pupils understand clearly how they learn.

This role is ideal for a proactive, dedicated professional who models an enthusiasm for continuous improvement and is passionate about promoting inclusion, self-esteem, and independence in the classroom. Whether working with intervention groups or providing tailored 1:1 support for named children with specific learning, communication, or physical needs, you will play a vital role in creating a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

Ability to deliver targeted support that accelerates pupil progress and addresses academic, social, and emotional development.

Experience working with diverse needs, including supporting pupils with SEN, disabilities, EAL, or personal care requirements while promoting full participation.

Skills in delivering bespoke enrichment and intervention programmes under the direction of senior staff (e.g., literacy, numeracy, phonics, or social skills).

Proven ability to work closely with teachers to complete accurate tracking records, provide feedback on pupil progress, and support routine administration.

Core Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths at Grade A–C (or equivalent), alongside an unwavering commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and confidentiality.

What We Offer

A welcoming and inclusive school community rooted in Catholic values.

Opportunities for professional development, training events, and career progression within a thriving trust.

Students who are eager to learn and engage with supportive staff.

Access to advanced learning tools, including one-to-one student devices, to enhance teaching and learning opportunities.

Full access to trust-wide networks, resources, and supportive professional partnerships.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The Trust is an equal opportunities employer.
