St Augustine’s School, part of the St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated PE / General Teacher to join our supportive and vibrant school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential while contributing to our mission of excellence, inclusion, and Catholic education.

What We’re Looking For

A committed and enthusiastic teacher with experience delivering high-quality lessons

Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education, with the ability to contribute more broadly across the curriculum in all subject areas.

Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs

A passion for promoting health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development through sport and physical activity

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and flexible approach

A willingness to uphold and promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in daily practice

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
