St Augustine’s School, part of the St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated PE / General Teacher to join our supportive and vibrant school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential while contributing to our mission of excellence, inclusion, and Catholic education.

What We’re Looking For

• A committed and enthusiastic teacher with experience delivering high-quality lessons

• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education, with the ability to contribute more broadly across the curriculum in all subject areas.

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs

• A passion for promoting health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development through sport and physical activity

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and flexible approach

• A willingness to uphold and promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in daily practice

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
