St Augustine’s School are looking for a Technology Technician to work under the direction of the Head of Faculty and Teachers within the faculty to ensure the effective running of the art, food technology and the D&T departments. You will give technical support including preparation of materials, and offering support for pupils and staff with lessons. You will also ensure that all faculty Health and Safety protocols are adhered to.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Ability to work with a range of timbers, metals and plastics associated with workshop processes.
  • Mechanical experience in order to use machines safely and confidently.
  • A passion for Food technology and knowledge of food hygiene requirements
  • The ability to establish excellent relationships with all pupils and staff
  • Excellent communication skills and is able to work as part of a team
  • A supportive approach to the Catholic ethos of the school and the care the school provides
