Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a hardworking, organised and enthusiastic AAT Admin & Support Assistant to join our Primary Centre. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of school life, combining reception duties, administrative support, pupil administration, estates and facilities assistance, and supporting staff and pupils throughout the school day.
You will:
Lead our front-of-house: welcome visitors, manage calls and emails, maintain secure entry, and keep the school diary organised.
Support pupils and staff: provide in-class help, lunchtime supervision, behaviour support, first aid cover (training provided), and assist with displays and catering preparation.
Keep administration on track: handle correspondence, filing, payments, permissions and pupil records; manage attendance, transport, events and trip admin.
Assist with staff processes: support inductions, check agency staff, and be a key point of contact for HR-related queries.
Contribute to safety and facilities: maintain supplies, manage deliveries, handle petty cash, update the website, and support emergency procedures.
If you are a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment — and you enjoy making a real difference every day — we would love to hear from you.
