About this Role

Job Title: Site Assistant

Location: St Clare's School. You may be required to work at other sites within the Trust.

Grade/Scale: Derby City Council Support Pay Scale - Grade E (Points 10-14), Actual Salary £23,951 - £25,548 per annum

Contract: 32 hours per week, all year round (Part time hours and flexible days could be considered for the right candidate)   

Core hours of work: Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 18:30pm and Friday 11:00am - 17:00pm. Hours can be during the day in school holidays.

We are looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic Site Assistant to join our friendly site team at St Clare's School, a vibrant special school. Our school buildings and grounds are very busy and well used, so we need someone who is able to carry out caretaking, security, routine and reactive maintenance, repairs, decorating, with a broad range of trade and handyperson skills to keep the site safe, functional and welcoming. You will report to the Site Manager. There will be a requirement to support Derby Pride Academy, Pride Park, Derby when required.

The role is varied, active and hands-on, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, working independently and as part of a team.
