About this Role

Ashgate Croft is a large and complex area special school.  We provide education and care for pupils with learning difficulties, including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication, behavioural and physical needs, and we follow a bespoke curriculum in order to meet each child's needs which is informed by the EQUALS curriculum.

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Positive Play Worker to support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, social development and engagement with learning across our lower and upper school departments. The successful candidate will deliver structured play-based interventions, support positive behaviour and relationships, and work closely with teaching staff to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment. This vacancy is being advertised as Part-Time 22.20 hours per week Mon-Wed (Monday & Tuesday 8:30am – 3:40pm Wednesday 8:30am – 3:50pm)  39 weeks per year
