An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding leader to join Tudor Grange Academies Trust as the Deputy Head Teacher at Tudor Grange Primary Academy - Meon Vale.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy - Meon Vale is a 3 to 11 years primary school, growing towards two form entry (currently 250 NOR) in Warwickshire which opened in 2019.

Tudor Grange Academies Trust brings together a growing group of highly regarded schools. With a reputation for excellence in training and career development, we support our dedicated staff to continually grow and achieve their best within a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Due to the promotion of the current Deputy Head Teacher to Principal, a vacancy has arisen and we are looking to appoint a new Deputy Head Teacher to start in September 2026. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate will be determined, resilient, and ambitious for both the children and the staff. They will understand that exceptional leadership requires visibility, presence, energy, and high emotional intelligence to navigate various situations effectively. The ideal candidate will have a key interest in driving continued improvement in English across all phases.

We need someone capable of driving an inclusive curriculum and teaching approach, supported by the Trust.  This person should know how to foster a culture that balances kindness with clear boundaries, ensuring children feel safe, heard, and valued.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Meon Vale has a strong vision built on the values of Kindness and Compassion, Responsibility and Respect. The Academy now requires a leader who can build on this vision. The successful applicant will be an exceptional person with inspirational leadership skills and the expertise to manage and lead the Academy’s future development.  They will be well supported by the Trust.

We warmly welcome visits to the school, and would ask you to please contact Claire Aucott, Office Manager and PA to the Principal on office@meonvale.tgacademy.org.uk or on 01789 721 060 to arrange a tour.  Opportunities are available for this on the following dates and times:

Shortlisting date:      Friday 17th April 2026

Interview date:          Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th April 2026 (NOTE: Potentially a two-day process)

The recruitment process is robust in seeking to establish the commitment of candidates to support the school’s measures to safeguard children and to identify, deter or reject people who might pose a risk of harm to children or are otherwise unsuited to work with them. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. All applications will be considered on their merit and the post will be offered subject to the usual health and criminal record clearance.
