Inclusion Team Teaching Assistant – 4 Vacancies

Grade 3 Point 5 - Point 6 to Grade 4 Point 7 to 11

(depending on experience and qualifications)

£25,583 to £28,142 FTE

Role 1: 22.50 hours– Term Time only, (includes inset days) (9am to 1:30pm)

Role 2: 31.25 hours - Term Time only, (includes inset days) (8:30am - 3:15pm)

Role 3: 31.25 hours - Term Time only, (includes inset days) (8:30am - 3:15pm)

Role 4: 31.25 hours - Term Time only, (includes inset days) (8:30am - 3:15pm) 

We are excited to be developing a new Inclusion Team as part of our growing school.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Meon Vale sits in the heart of a new housing development at Meon Vale.

We are looking to appoint four highly competent and enthusiastic individuals who are team players, to join our growing school community as soon as possible.  Inclusion is integral to the work of our school.  We are looking to appoint four teaching assistants to join our highly dedicated and committed inclusion team to support the social, emotional, behavioural and academic progress of our pupils who have additional needs.

The successful candidates will be required to support teaching staff in the delivery of a quality curriculum in line with the vision and ethos of the school. The roles will require successful candidates to be:

  • passionate about supporting pupils who have additional needs, through a nurturing approach that enables the pupils to gain a real sense of belonging and develop their independence overtime
  • highly professional and be able to demonstrate their integrity
  • awareness of autism and early communication strategies e.g) visual timetable, objects of reference etc
  • autonomous in their work, following all Academy policies, specifically in relation to safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality
  • enthusiastic and hardworking, and flexible in their approach
  • knowledgeable about the primary national curriculum
  • capable of supporting the delivery of an individualised curriculum to meet the requirements of the EHCP under the direction of the class teacher
  • capable to adapting activities, taking account of the interests of the pupil
  • excellent users of the English language both orally and in writing
  • committed to our children’s progress and success.
