Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)
Temporary Position
We
are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and compassionate Early Years
Practitioner (Level 3) to join our team on a temporary basis within our nursery
provision at Hampton Lakes Primary School.
This
is an exciting opportunity to support young children’s learning and development
in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.
Working
closely with the EYFS Lead and the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in
delivering high-quality early education, ensuring that all children are
supported to reach their full potential socially, emotionally, and
academically.
What you will be doing
As Early Years Practitioner you will:

Support
the EYFS Lead and Nursery Manager in delivering engaging activities and
ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery provision
·
Provide
high-quality care and learning support for all children, including those with
SEN or EAL, promoting inclusion and development
·
Observe,
assess and track children’s progress, contributing to learning journeys,
planning and next steps
·
Create
and maintain a safe, clean, stimulating environment that supports children’s
physical, emotional, and educational needs
·
Build
positive relationships with parents, staff and external professionals,
contributing to safeguarding, behaviour management and nursery events
About You
We
are looking for someone who:
·
Has
experience working in an Early Years setting
·
Has a relevant childcare qualification
(Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare)
·
Demonstrates
strong communication and teamwork skills
·
Is passionate about supporting
children’s development and delivering high-quality care and engaging learning
experiences
·
Has
knowledge of EYFS and inclusive practice
·
Can
use initiative and work independently when required
·
Has a flexible, adaptable and caring approach
Working Hours
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time plus three days.
