year to work primarily in upper KS2.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children thrive both academically and personally. Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team, you will support pupils' learning, emotional wellbeing and development through engaging activities tailored to individual and group needs. You'll help create a positive and stimulating learning environment, assist with literacy, numeracy and ICT activities, and encourage children to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. Badbury Park Primary School moved
into a state-of-the-art new building in November 2020. We are passionate about
outdoor learning, education for social responsibility and forest school and we

The successful
applicant will:
- Have experience of working with primary-aged children, particularly in a Year 5 and/or Year 6 setting.
- Be able to motivate and encourage pupils to achieve their best.
- Use a range of effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and support children with differing needs.
- Foster positive social skills, confidence and independence in pupils.
- Remain calm, patient and professional in a busy school environment.
- Show initiative and be able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Be willing to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Act as a positive role model for children and embrace a values-based approach to education.
