Primary Teacher (SEN)

Wokingham, Berkshire
£35,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Odyssey House School is a Good-rated special school with just 36 students, offering a calm, nurturing environment where staff can build strong relationships and deliver personalised learning.

We are seeking a Primary Teacher to teach small groups of students with high-functioning autism, anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). You will be supported by Teaching Assistants and an experienced SENCO, enabling you to focus on high-quality teaching and positive outcomes for every child.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated primary lessons across core subjects
  • Support students working at a range of levels, including personalised and functional learning pathways
  • Monitor progress and provide clear, supportive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Provide pastoral support as a tutor/key adult
