Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5 Point 5 £8,985
Hours: 15.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).
Fixed term contract until 31/08/2027
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Somersham Primary School! As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.

The ideal candidate:
- Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND of behavior needs would be beneficial.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
- Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet!
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

Somersham Primary School serves the villages of Somersham and Pidley in Cambridgeshire.
