Castle
Primary School is a vibrant and growing school, situated in Keynsham, between
Bath & Bristol. We are seeking an
energetic and experienced TA / HLTA to join our committed team.
The
Teaching Assistant hours will involve supporting learning across three Key
Stage 2 classes under the direction of teachers. The HLTA hours will involve leading
interventions with groups of children from all attainment groups.
In
addition to previous primary experience, training in phonics and / or an evidence-based
intervention would be an advantage. A HLTA qualification or QTS is required for
the Grade 6 salary. We would appoint someone committed to achieving HLTA status
a full-time TA (Grade 4) and support them in their training so they could
achieve the Level 6 salary in the future.
This is
an opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives and their futures.
It is a chance to join a supportive team, on a continuous improvement journey
to ensure all our children reach their potential.
We are
seeking an enthusiastic and flexible team player, who understands the
importance of going ‘over and above’. Our children thrive with adults who are
friendly, firm and fair, so we are seeking a calm, consistent and committed
person.
We can offer you:
- Children who will make
you smile everyday
- Consideration of your
‘well-being’ and access to support (in the eventuality any is required)
- Opportunities to grow as
a professional and access to regular high-quality CPD
- The support of an experienced
and dedicated team of professionals
- The support of a Trust,
who like us, values its employees and respects our school’s individuality
- A pending pay award
- Pension contributions
- Access to the Cycle to
Work Scheme
This
position will include 30 minutes play ‘duty’ during lunchtime.
We would
encourage visits to our school so you can see for yourself all we can offer and
that we are the right school for you. Please contact Emma Sampson (admin@castleprimary.uk) or 0117 9864489 to arrange
a tour.
The Partnership Trust is
committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young
people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This
post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
