Your
role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher at
Warboys Primary Academy, you will plan and teach well-structured lessons that
follow the school's curriculum and schemes of work. You will assess, monitor,
record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of your
pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment. Adapting your
teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil, you will set high
expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge them. Your role will also
involve promoting good progress and outcomes, demonstrating good subject and
curriculum knowledge, and preparing pupils for external tests. Additionally,
you will plan and deliver enrichment opportunities that engage pupils and raise
aspirations.
You have knowledge and
understanding of the National Curriculum, effective teaching and learning
styles, and strategies for working with students with Special Educational Needs.
Experience in delivering student-centred learning at Key Stage 2, planning and
designing schemes of work, and using ICT and multimedia in lessons will be
highly valued. The ability to promote a positive and inclusive environment,
establish a purposeful learning environment, and inspire and enthuse children
is crucial.
