Salary: 

Grade 3, Point 3 

£8,855 (Actual annual salary) 

£24,796 (FTE)

Hours of work:

15 Hours a week, 3.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday

40 Weeks a year (Term time plus 2 weeks)


We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Cleaner.  You will be maintaining the school premises to the required standard of cleanliness, carrying our work instructed by the cleaning supervisor. 

Responsibilities: 

To operate effectively both domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment.

To use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and inform the cleaning supervisor when stocks are lown 

To work to academy guidelines at all times particularly in relation to the health and safety policy

To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order

 

The ideal candidate 

Basic standard of literacy to read instructions

Ability to work as a member of a team

Ability to undertake all the physical aspects of the post  

Ability to move and use domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment  

Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
