Hours of work:
15 Hours a week, 3.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday
40 Weeks a year (Term time plus 2 weeks)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Cleaner. You will be maintaining the school premises to the required standard of cleanliness, carrying our work instructed by the cleaning supervisor.
Responsibilities:
• To operate effectively both domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment.
• To use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and inform the cleaning supervisor when stocks are lown
• To work to academy guidelines at all times particularly in relation to the health and safety policy
• To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order
The ideal candidate
• Basic standard of literacy to read instructions
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to undertake all the physical aspects of the post
• Ability to move and use domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment
• Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
