About our school
About the role
The role will initially be based at our Bungalow site which is situated within the grounds of Holybrook Primary School (BD10 0EF). The Bungalow offer at Bradford AP Academy aims to support students who display signs of Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) characteristics and SEMH to enable them to increase their confidence, self-esteem and to re-engage with their learning.
This provision aims to re-engage students who have been out
of education for an extended period of time, or are experiencing anxiety or
trauma that prohibits them from successfully engaging in full time education.
This is through a flexible curriculum that is adapted to the needs of the
individual student. This supports the students to develop the skills and
confidence they need to succeed in a small group setting before progressing
onto a main BAPA site and ultimately into a long-term educational setting.
The team you will be joining do incredible work with our young people who often come with complex and traumatic backgrounds. As such, you can be assured that you will be part of a strong team of people who support each other, and you too will be supported to be the best you can be, putting young people at the heart of all we do.
