About this Role

We are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Principal for 22 Hours per Week, on a Term Time plus 2  week basis  to join our team at George Pindar School.

George Pindar School is an 11-16 secondary school situated in Scarborough. THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and discreet individual to join us as PA to the Principal. This is a key role within the school, providing high-quality, confidential support to the Principal and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be able to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Principal
  • Manage the Principal’s diary, correspondence, and meeting schedules
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to a high standard
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team as required
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and school communications
  • Ensure effective office systems and processes are maintained

Job Details

Hours of Work: 22 Hours per Week, Term Time plus 2  week. Work pattern to be agreed with consecutive days preferred.
