An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Colne Community School for a Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team.

Our school is a community in which we believe everyone, students and staff alike, should have the opportunity to be nourished and grow. Therefore, we are seeking to recruit a proactive and reliable member of staff to enrich the skills and experience already present in our Catering Team.   • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Part time - 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time) + 1 INSET/Non-Pupil Day
  • Working Pattern: 9:00am - 2:30pm (Mon - Fri)

A Day in the Life:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • The preparation and simple cooking of food and beverages. 
  • Serving customers. 
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and school regulations.
