An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Colne Community
School for a Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND Team.

This role is 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time, plus 1 non-pupil days). This will be Monday to Friday 08:40am - 15:10pm.
This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2030 and is dependent on the funding available, based on specific student enrolment.
A Day in the Life:
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
To aid the student(s) to learn as effectively as possible and to reach their full potential in whole class, group or individual situations.
Ensuring the needs of new students are circulated to relevant staff.
Contribute to reviews of the students’ progress.

What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:
GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
Ability to understand and support children with developmental difficulty or disability
Ability to resolve routine problems independently
