About this Role

St Mark and All Saints C of E Primary School are looking for a full time enthusiastic, talented Teaching Assistant to support and inspire children to make great progress

The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children’s learning (Nursery to Year 6), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty. There is also the possibility of additional hours working in our Wraparound care: Treetops.

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: Grade B (£23,729) FTE (£18,661.00) Pro-rata

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week term time only

What we are looking for:

GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths

The ability to read and write fluently and confidence in maths

Self-confidence, resilience, a good sense of humour and effective communication skills

EYFS/KS1/SEN experience an advantage

Happy to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 6
