Position: KS2 Class Teacher/ECT

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent thinking and a love for learning.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their individual development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of teaching and learning.

  • Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and involved in their education.

  • Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment, promoting positive behavior management strategies.

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the overall educational experience of our students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognised teacher training program as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

  • A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an inclusive education that meets the needs of all learners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards professional development.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
