We are looking for an enthusiastic  Part Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Southfield Primary Academy. The purpose of the post is to provide regular classroom cover for class teachers, leading lessons and managing whole classes in order to secure learning progress and high standards of behaviour.  The successful applicant will have previous experience of leading whole classes, either as an experienced HLTA, as a cover supervisor or perhaps as a Teaching Assistant, stepping up to cover teachers.  An HLTA qualification is preferred but we will consider applicants with the relevant experience, who may not yet have completed the HLTA qualification.

Two years experience working within a school environment is required for this post.

Working Hours 

33.5 Hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm 

·       Later finish on Wednesday due to staff meeting – 5pm

·       1 hour lunch break

·       term time plus 5 days 

Fixed Term until 31st August 2025

£23,669- £26,669 actual annual salary
