About this Role

Priors Hall - a Learning Community

Class Teacher

Salary: MPS 1-6

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Contract: Maternity Cover up to 1 year, Full Time

Priors Hall - a Learning Community is proud to be part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) family of schools who inspire all of our futures through learning together. At IFtL we are never alone. We know we are stronger together – one united family striving for excellence for all, in everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational class teacher to join the team at our thriving, successful and happy school. We aim to prepare all of our children for every stage of their learning and of their lives. We want to provide not only strategies for achieving their academic potential but also provide strategies so that children can nurture, and look after, their emotional and mental health too.

Aim and main purpose of the job:

Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct, including through their form tutor responsibilities.  Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of their pupil.  Teachers should:

  • Maximise the achievement of all children in your care.
  • Be responsible for children’s safety and welfare.
  • Assist in the development of the ever-growing school.
  • Promote the aims, values and vision of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.

Our children and young people come from a wide range of backgrounds, and so do our colleagues. We aim to reflect and celebrate diversity in our workplace in order to create an inclusive culture that adds real value to our vision of inspiring the futures of us all through learning together.
