Term time only, 37 hours per week
Band F points 7-10
£26,403- £28,142 per annum pro rata
Actual salary: £22,077 - £23,531 per annum
The Role
Kenilworth
School and Sixth Form has a vacancy for an enthusiastic and organised PE
Technician to support our busy Physical Education department. This is an
exciting opportunity to work within a busy department, supporting lessons,
examinations, and a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Typical duties:
Prepare, set up, and clear away
equipment for PE lessons and GCSE/A-Level and BTEC practical assessments.
Provide in-lesson support to teachers,
including demonstrations and supervision.
Assist with coursework, practical
assessments, and maintaining accurate performance records.
Support the organisation and moderation
of examination classes, including video evidence collection.
Help run extracurricular clubs,
fixtures, sports events, and attend competitions; minibus driving included.
Maintain and check equipment, ensure
safe storage, and carry out routine facility safety checks.
Promote safe practice and support risk
assessments across all activities.
Carry out administrative duties such as
inventory management, equipment orders, and facility scheduling.
Requirements:
First Aid at Work qualification
(training can be provided).
Clean driving licence and willingness to
undertake MiDAS minibus training.
IT literate to support the department.
A proactive, reliable, and student-focused approach.
Working Hours
The working hours with an unpaid 30-minute lunchbreak are:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (4pm finish on one day of the week)
There may be a requirement to work on inset days or open evenings, for time off in lieu as agreed.
