Salary MPS/UPS

From September 2026

The Trust

Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust has a vacancy a permanent Teacher of Technology for Food or DT for September 2026.  The vacancy is based at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.  We would welcome applications from candidates who are Teachers of Food or DT with the ability to teach food. The school teaches to level 3 in food and provides an opportunity which not many schools offer.  We would consider Science or PE teachers who have a specialism in nutrition.

Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with engaged and motivated pupils.  In September 2023 we opened our doors of Kenilworth School after relocating to a brand new, bespoke campus on Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth.

The Technology Department is split over three floors, comprising of 3 workshops (one with attached laser cutting room), 1 CAD/ CAM classroom, 2 Food preparation and Nutrition classrooms, 3 Textiles classrooms, 1 large Technology staff base and 3 prep rooms. All classrooms are fully equipped with large interactive TV screens.

Ofsted rated the school as Outstanding in November 2023, maintaining our rating from 2013.  The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.

Our educational ethos encourages our students to be responsive, resilient, to have reasoning, be reflective and resourceful in their learning.
