Teacher of PE

Full time

September 2026

The School

Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust has a vacancy for a Teacher of PE.  The vacancy is based at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.

Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with engaged, motivated and well-behaved pupils.  In September 2023 we opened our doors of Kenilworth School after relocating to a brand new, bespoke campus on Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth.

The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.

Our educational ethos encourages our students to be responsive, resilient, to have reasoning, be reflective and resourceful in their learning.

 The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of PE to join a busy, active and thriving department.  The successful applicant should be aspirational, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of PE. The postholder will teach a range sporting disciplines to include rugby, football and athletics.

As a Teacher of PE you should be able to teach across all ability ranges at Key Stages 3 and 4 and the ability to teach examination PE at KS 4 would be advantageous, but not essential. Also, the ability to teach Health and Social Care would also be advantageous, but not essential.

We would welcome applications from ECTs or experienced teachers.

If you would like an informal discussion with the Head of PE, prior to applying for the role, please email Gareth Jones at G.Jones@kssf.kmat.org.uk.

We can offer you:
