Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust has two schools within the Academy, Kenilworth School and Sixth Form and Kenilworth School and Sixth Form. Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with engaged and motivated pupils. Since September 2023, Kenilworth School and Sixth Form has been based in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus on Glasshouse Lane, offering staff and students an exceptional modern and prestigious environment for teaching and learning.

We have a vacancy at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form for a Teaching Assistant, Level 2. The role is available for an immediate start in September 2026. Please refer to the attached job description for further information on the duties.
The Role
Teaching Assistants carry out a varied role to provide general and administrative support to our students. The responsibilities include working in-class with teachers and supporting students under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and SENDCO. Teaching Assistants provide support with a variety of learning, physical and sensory needs.
Key tasks include:
support individuals or groups of
pupils during the independent or group work e.g. explaining, reinforcing, or keeping
on task as required;
assist pupils in developing
communication skills;
assist in the PSHE develop of
pupils, care, safety and welfare;
assist in the monitoring and recording of pupil progress.
The hours of work are 8.40am to 3.40pm on a term time only basis, five days per week.
Whilst the role is term time, you may be expected to attend the inset days for training purposes as required.
