Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is an
important partner school in the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust. It is a large 11-18
mixed comprehensive school with 1930 currently on roll including 425 in the
Sixth Form. This is the only secondary school in the town and is well respected
and supported by the community and the town. The school population is steadily growing
to reach its full capacity of 2200 students, in response to the increased
housing development in the town. The profile of the school is becoming more diverse
with 22% of students being on the SEND register, 11.2% of EAL students and 10% pupil
premium.
The school is characterised by excellent relationships between students, staff members and families. The school is a centre of excellence for the community of Kenilworth and graded as outstanding in its last Ofsted inspection in 2023. The school is also listed in the ‘Good Schools Guide’. The incoming Headteacher will have the drive and vision to maintain the high standards and reputation of the school, whilst also leading the school into its next phase.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader and educational practitioner with a passion for inclusion for all and a commitment to secure the best outcomes for young people. Students can expect a high quality education provision, expert teaching and support with a wide range of opportunities outside of the classroom.
Relationships with the Trust and wider community are excellent and create a sense of belonging to a larger family. A supportive team of Trust professionals enables the Headteacher and other staff members to focus on the best provision and personal development for all of our young people.
As well as being a great place to learn, Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is a supportive school in which to work. Our students are happy and are supported to achieve their full potential and enjoy their learning.
