Serenity School Coulsdon is looking to appoint a Progress Partner (Teaching Assistant) to work as part of our supportive
and collaborative team to support our pupils in small groups or 1:1

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Support teaching, learning, and assessment by delivering learning activities to individuals and small groups of pupils under agreed supervision
Contribute to the planning, preparation, and adaptation of learning activities to meet pupils’ individual needs
Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, achievement, and development, providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and pupil wellbeing, responding effectively to pupils’ physical, emotional, and behavioural needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes and wider school development
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting, with a commitment to inclusive education
Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
Is flexible, resilient, and able to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Is confident using IT systems, willing to undertake training (including positive handling), and committed to professional development
