Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a highly effective Head of Design, Technology & Engineering, to start from April OR September 2026.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across the department. This is an exciting time to join the team as we build on our T-Levels, with the introduction of a T-Level in Engineering. The role is responsible for curriculum quality and development, line management of staff including professional development, oversight of resources and health and safety, and collaboration with Senior Leaders and industry partners to ensure strong learner outcomes and continued departmental growth.
This is a full time, permanent role, paid on the STPC Main/Upper Pay Range, dependant on experience, with a TLR2a of £8,611.
The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000 which is split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service.
