About this Role

Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Science to join the Science Department, on a maternity cover basis, to start from 27th August 2026.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our well-established department, delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire curiosity and support student progress. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong passion for STEM, and we welcome applications from those with pastoral experience at Head of Year level or similar, who can contribute to the wider development and wellbeing of students.

This is a full time, fixed term role, paid on the STPC Main/Upper pay scale, dependent on experience, with a TLR2b allowance of £5,871 for additional Head of Phase responsibilities. This position is fixed term for one year, to cover maternity leave.
