About this Role

Are you passionate about technology and committed to delivering high-quality IT services that make a real difference in education? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technology Support Manager to play a key role in delivering our established IT Strategy at academy level.

Based at Arnold Hill Spencer Academy, this role sits within the Trust’s central IT Services function, with responsibility for leading and coordinating IT support on site while contributing to the wider One Spencer IT Service. You will ensure a responsive, reliable, and user-focused service for staff and students, aligning local delivery with Trust-wide standards and priorities.

As the Trust continues to mature its in-house IT provision, you will be instrumental in embedding consistent practices, improving service performance, and enhancing the user experience. Working closely with central teams, you will help translate strategic direction into effective day-to-day operations, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across systems, processes, and support.

This is a role for someone who thrives on leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving, with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic contribution. You will lead local support staff, act as a key escalation point, and build strong relationships across the academy to ensure technology enables teaching and learning at its best.

Join us in a role where you can have a tangible impact on educational outcomes through excellent IT service delivery.

Early application is strongly encouraged as we reserve the right to interview and close the advert ahead of the closing date.

Spencer Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. Therefore, we expect everyone to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check with Barred List and completion of Level 2 Safeguarding training. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

The Trust and its academies are committed to promoting equality and diversity in both employment and education. We aim to ensure that all members of our community are treated fairly, and with dignity and respect regardless of Protected Characteristics.
